We can’t thank our clients enough for their hard work in partnering with us to earn these awards.

Earlier this week, The Publicity Club of New England recognized our work in public relations and graphic design with five Bells and one Merit at the annual Bell Ringer Awards ceremony. The following would not be possible without great clients who motivate us to do our very best:

Best Direct Mailer: Compassionate Care ALS Benefit

Best Graphic Identity: The Marino Center for Integrative Health

Best Web site: The Marino Center for Integrative Health

Best Employee Communications Campaign: Harvard University Staff Survey

Best Product/Service Publicity for a B-to-B Campaign: ForHealth Technologies

Merit recognition for Response to Breaking News: ForHealth Technologies

Celebrating its 40th year, the Bell Ringer Awards recognize excellence in communications and public relations work in every field and industry, and across all media.

We recently received word that some of our work has won several design awards.

Our work with EMC on their “Efficiency” advertising campaign netted us a Gold Award from the Hermes Creative Awards.

Additionally, we earned three Summit International Awards: a bronze award for our work on the Harvard University Nieman Foundation annual report, a silver award for a Northeastern University on-line direct mailer, and a bronze award for our logo redesign for the Marino Center for Integrative Health.

At HB, we’re exceedingly lucky to work with a dedicated group of clients who help us to produce award-winning work.

Awards Never Get Old

by Justin Hastings

Receiving design awards is always good news at HB. Most recently, we earned two Davey Awards.

Our work on a previous award-winner, the NextPoint Properties direct mailers, netted us a gold award while our work with EMC & CDW on a baseball card promotion earned us a silver award.

Big thanks to our clients on all of our work – our client relationships help us to build and create award-winning projects.

Wear Blue: Bring Green

by Amanda Jayachandran

We recently completed a creative invitation for a fundraiser supporting Compassionate Care ALS and the MDAA/ALS Center at UMass Memorial Medical Center. We were tasked with creating an elegant invitation with a Southwestern flair.

Our design included a swatch of denim adhered to a textured paper with a simple message: Wear Blue. Bring Green.

The event was filled with an audience excited to wear blue jeans at the classy Tutnuck Country Club. Attendees brought their “green” with them as the event successfully raised nearly $100,000.

The invitation design has been given an honorable mention by MarCom Awards.

EMC CLARiiON CX4 Sales Kit

by Amanda Jayachandran

EMC was looking to inform and motivate partners about a new product, the EMC CLARiiON CX4.

We developed a kit with an easy pull-out brochure and a cd with an interactive graphical user interface. It included assets in nine different languages.

The kit design, including a silver foil, has won two MarCom Awards for Platinum Award (highest recognition) in the Design/Media Kit category and the Gold Award in the Media Kit/Product Launch category.

Rejection Never Felt this Good

by Nicolas Boillot

Hart Boillot is proud to announce their sponsorship of a unique graphic design awards contest: Project Never. The competition honors the most creative concept never to reach production.

Two HB employees, Matt Gustavsen and Justin Hastings, experienced and understood that many great design concepts were going unused and helped to develop Project Never. By honoring the greatest of the rejects, Project Never will recognize some of the industry’s most creative designs.

Proud & Prestigious

by Justin Hastings

Recently, Hart•Boillot earned three American Graphic Design Awards. The HB team earned honors for a course catalog for Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies, an identity and website for the Friends of Court Street Theatre, and a group of direct mailers for NextPoint Properties.

We’re very happy to work with a diverse group of clients who help to make our work award-winning.

Hitting the Target

by Justin Hastings

Hart Boillot recently won two Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards for our work with EMC and NextPoint Properties.

Our work on the EMC CLARiiON AX4 Sales Kit earned praise for its ease of use, design, and effectiveness in EMC’s channel marketing group.

Additionally, our teamwork with NextPoint Properties delivered a unique, tactile direct mail campaign to create awareness for a new company and new real estate strategy in Massachusetts.

We continue to be proud of all our work, whether or not we win an award. Much of the credit for our success goes to our incredible clients who partner with us to deliver well-designed strategic communications.

A Bell Ringer haiku for all to enjoy

Two Merit Awards
Stiff competition for Bells
Proud to be HB

The Bell Ringer Awards was a fabulous night shared among HBers. We dined on fancy eats and laughed together. Alas, the awards were not to ring as we’d hoped. With five nominations, we took home two Merits and we are proud of our accomplishment. We learned a great deal about what the best entries for this award would be and how to position them for glory.

On an exceedingly bright note, Dawn Sullivan, one of our newest team members “won” four Bells and one Merit (including “Campaign” category bells that represent the bigger picture and impact of PR) for work she did while at Schwartz Communications. We met a great number of smart and talented pros and we’re better for having entered. My confidence grows daily in the amazing team we have and the stellar experience we consistently deliver for our clients. We look forward to greater success in 2009.
